A documentary work-in-progress about two teenaged students living in separate realities -a Rohingya Muslim girl and a Buddhist boy -both displaced as a result of violence in Burma’s Rakine State. Mob attacks targeting Rohingya communities, described by Human Rights Watch as ethnic cleansing displaced tens of thousands of Muslim families to apartheid-like camps. The project follows two youth, both of whom had their homes burned, to solicit their views on the roots of hatred of the “other side” and ideas on what is needed to build peace and social equity.
